Color Bar: Mix & Serve · effective 27 September 2026

Short version: there is no account, your progress stays on your devices and in your own iCloud, the game sends a few usage stats with no name or ad ID in them (you can switch them off), and ads only play when you choose to watch one. We don’t sell data. Below is the long version.

Who we are

Color Bar: Mix & Serve (“the game”) is made by JustYeah (Anton Belinskyi, individual entrepreneur, Ukraine), the controller of the data described here. Contact: hello.justyeah@gmail.com.

No account, progress in your own iCloud

You don’t sign up or log in to play. Your progress — coins, bar level, cocktail book, items, streaks — is saved on your device and, when you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account, so it comes back after you reinstall the game and moves to your other iPhone or iPad with the same Apple ID. That copy is stored by Apple under Apple’s privacy terms; it never reaches us, and we can’t see, change or restore it. Settings stay on each device. If iCloud is off for the game, progress stays on the device only.

Usage stats (TelemetryDeck)

To learn what to improve, the game sends a small number of pseudonymous signals about play to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. For example: a shift was finished, a bar level was reached, an item was bought, a screen was opened.

  • What a signal contains: the event name and a few game values from fixed lists or numbers (such as bar level, points range, the equipped bar theme), plus what the service adds: app version and build, iOS version, device model, screen size and orientation, language, region and time zone, the hour and weekday, accessibility settings (such as text size and reduced motion), and how many sessions you’ve had and how long they last.
  • What it never contains: your name, email, contacts, location, device name, the advertising identifier, or anything you type.
  • Identifier: a random ID created by the game on first launch and hashed before it is sent — so the stats are pseudonymous: they can tell that two signals came from the same install, but not who you are. It is not used to track you across apps or websites.
  • Switch it off: open Settings in the game and untick Share usage stats. While it is off, nothing is sent.
  • How long it’s kept: we can see the signals only for the retention period of our TelemetryDeck plan. After that TelemetryDeck moves them to archive storage, where they stay pseudonymous and out of our reach. Because no signal can be linked to you, none can be singled out as “yours”.

Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)

After a shift you can choose to watch a short video ad to double that shift’s coins. That is the only ad in the game, and it only plays if you tap it. Ads are served by Google AdMob. So that an ad is ready when you want one, the game contacts Google at launch to prepare it (after the consent form where one is required) — Google receives the information below even if you never watch.

  • The game asks Google for non-personalised ads only — ads that are not based on your past behaviour. The game does not ask for permission to track you (no App Tracking Transparency prompt) and does not use the advertising identifier.
  • To show an ad, limit how often it appears, measure it and prevent fraud, Google may process information such as a device identifier, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), ad interactions and diagnostic data.
  • In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent form is shown before the first ad. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy choices.
  • Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

In-app purchases (Apple)

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment card or billing details — the game only learns which item was bought so it can unlock it. Items bought with real money are tied to your Apple ID: the game restores them by itself at launch, and Store → Premium → Restore purchases brings them back on any device. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to payments.

Game Center (Apple)

Leaderboards, achievements and friends’ scores use Apple’s Game Center. Signing in is optional and the game works without it. When you use it, your Game Center nickname, scores and achievements are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and other players may see your nickname and scores on leaderboards.

Streak reminder

If you allow notifications, the game schedules one reminder on your device for 19:00 when your daily streak would otherwise break that night. It is created and delivered by iOS on your phone — nothing is sent to us or to any server. Turn it off in iOS Settings → Notifications → Color Bar.

Crash reports

If you have chosen in iOS settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass us crash reports and performance data for the game. These come from Apple and don’t identify you.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or rent data to anyone.
  • We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • We don’t ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.

Children

Color Bar is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), write to us and we will delete it.

Legal basis (EEA, UK)

Anonymous usage stats are based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the game is played and improving it; you can object at any time with the Share usage stats switch. Where required, ad-related processing by Google relies on the choice you make in the consent form.

Your choices and rights

  • Turn off usage stats: Settings → Share usage stats.
  • Change ad consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): Settings → Privacy choices.
  • Never watch an ad: just don’t tap the ×2 button — nothing else changes.
  • Delete your progress: Settings → Reset progress — it also replaces the iCloud copy and resets your other devices. Items bought with real money stay yours — Store → Premium → Restore purchases brings them back.

Because the usage stats carry no name, email or ad ID, we can’t link them to a person, so we can’t find or hand over one player’s records. You can still email us with any privacy question or request, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
